Mr. Masters's practice is concentrated exclusively in real estate taxation. He regularly appears before the Cook County Assessor, the Cook County Board of Review, the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board and the Illinois Department of Revenue for tax exempt properties.

Mr. Masters has authored numerous articles on commercial real estate matters. He has been quoted in the press and has appeared on national television for the Nightly Business Report - Real Estate Special. Mr. Masters has been a speaker and lecturer at various forums and groups including the State and Local Taxation Course at the John Marshall Law School, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors. He has delivered speeches both in the United States and Canada and was a keynote speaker at a Georgetown University Law Center Conference.

Mr. Masters is a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers and the Chicago Bar Association Real Estate Taxation Law Committee. He was also a member of the Chicago Bar Association Executive Council of the Real Property Law Committee as well as Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Real Property Law Continuing Legal Education Subcommittee. Mr. Masters has a Peer Review Rating of "AV" (highest certification) by Martindale Hubble.

Mr. Masters received his B.A. from the University of Illinois Chicago and J.D. from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law.

Charitable: Mr. Masters' public service includes the pro bono representation for over ten years of the Menomonee Club for Boys and Girls which provides services to a diverse group of children from over 100 schools.

Personal: Mr. Masters is an award winning author and recognized authority on World War II. In addition to a book he authored on D-Day, he also wrote the book, “Governor Henry Horner, Chicago Politics and the Great Depression.” A member and officer of the Society of Midland Authors, Mr. Masters was invited to be the principal speaker on the highly acclaimed History Channel World War II program, “Silent Wing Warriors” which was based on his book.
